Concept Management run an active social calendar and one of the mainstays of our winter programme is The Sun’s Fantasy Football organised by John Gilbertson, our Operations Manager.
It is fought out by every member of staff and is keenly contested by our football aficionados and amateur managers, with league tables printed off and posted on staff notice boards to show the front runners and to shame the lesser lights.
This year was a closely run affair with John Davies, Logistics Manager winning with a colossal 1617 points with Brett Rutherford from our Asset Management Team in second with 1612 and in third place Richard Collier, Technical Manager with 1589.
John Davies, commented that he was delighted with the result which was all down to astute purchases and team changes within the transfer windows and he takes away £250 prize money, which his wife Lesley has spent already.
The next competition is the Sweep for the European Championship.
